These Terms govern your use of Shalom, a digital service operated by EmperorsRealm from Nigeria. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or continuing to use Shalom, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 13 years old and legally capable of accepting these Terms. If you are below 18, use Shalom with appropriate parent or guardian involvement. Additional age requirements may apply in your location.
Shalom is a Bible study, spiritual reflection, prayer, and AI-assisted educational tool. It is not a church, licensed counsellor, medical or mental-health provider, emergency service, legal adviser, or substitute for qualified pastoral or professional care. See our Disclaimer.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate account information, promptly report suspected unauthorised access, and not use another person's account without permission.
Shalom uses automated systems to generate and assess content. It checks cited Bible passages against its Scripture database and applies a claim-support review before displaying qualifying Personal Theologian answers. These controls reduce, but do not eliminate, errors. Interpretations may be incomplete, disputed, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Shalom's output is not divine revelation and must not be presented as prophecy, an instruction from God, or guaranteed theological truth.
Paid plans are processed through Paddle, our merchant of record. The full price, billing interval, taxes where applicable, renewal terms, and material restrictions must be shown before payment. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel through the available billing-management process, and access normally continues to the end of the paid billing period unless applicable law or the offer states otherwise.
We may change future prices or plan features with reasonable notice. A change does not remove rights already granted for a paid period.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, including a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first Premium payment, together with Paddle's applicable buyer terms and mandatory consumer law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or overrides rights that cannot lawfully be waived under Nigerian consumer-protection law or the law applicable to your purchase.
Billing complaints should be handled through a process that is clear and reasonably accessible. Where a problem cannot be resolved, a Nigerian consumer may also contact the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC).
You agree not to:
We may investigate abuse and suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, or the service.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, reproduce, and display it only as needed to operate Shalom and provide features you choose.
Publishing a verified answer makes the selected question and answer available through a public link. Do not publish confidential or identifying information. Public links may be indexed, copied, or reshared by others before you revoke or remove them.
Shalom's software, branding, interface, original content, and associated materials belong to EmperorsRealm or its licensors. Bible translations and third-party materials remain subject to their respective licences. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features for security, legal, operational, or product reasons. Where practical, material changes affecting paid users will be communicated in advance.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Shalom is provided “as is” and “as available”. EmperorsRealm does not guarantee that every response, interpretation, recommendation, translation, or third-party service will be error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.
To the extent liability can lawfully be limited, we are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, or consequential loss arising from use of Shalom or reliance on AI-generated content. Any aggregate contractual liability that can lawfully be capped will not exceed the amount you paid for Shalom during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This section does not exclude liability or consumer remedies that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
You may stop using Shalom and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach, unlawful conduct, fraud, security risk, non-payment, or where required by law. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without excluding mandatory rights available to a consumer under the law applicable to that consumer.
Before filing a claim, each party should attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute through the support channel. If it cannot be resolved, the courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives a consumer the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be identified by the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, communicated in the app. Changes will not retroactively remove mandatory rights or earned paid access.
Legal, account, or billing questions may be sent to shalom.4.app@gmail.com.
