This policy applies to paid subscriptions to Shalom, operated by EmperorsRealm. Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, which issues refunds on our behalf.
If Shalom Premium is not right for you, you can ask for a full refund of your first Premium payment within 30 days of making it. You don't need to give a reason.
Premium renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. Renewal payments after your first are not refundable once that billing period has started, but you can cancel at any time to stop future renewals. After cancelling, Premium stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
If you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge — we will refund it regardless of when you tell us.
You can request a refund in either of these ways:
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method where possible. Paddle processes them within 14 days of approval; your bank or card provider may take a few more days to show the money in your account. When a refund is issued, Premium access on that subscription ends.
The free plan and trial codes involve no payment, so there is nothing to refund.
This policy does not limit any right you have under consumer-protection law, including Nigerian law or the law of the country you live in, that cannot lawfully be waived. Where a problem cannot be resolved, a Nigerian consumer may also contact the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC).
